Not good.

Last week, the wife of one of my big dealers, passed away from cancer. She was 6 months older than me.

Probie was one of kind. Lots of stories in Chicago papers about him today. He was here for the tail end of his career and was a fan fav, naturally. Lot of old tough guys were quoted on how much they respected/feared Probie. A vicious fighter, but not a dirty one, plus he had some decent skill. Sad day indeed.

possibly he was playing around with to much nose candy ?

No doubt about it, his struggles with that stuff are widely documented.
