Your minimum pay should be around a grand a week(slow week), the most and record pay is $2800, keep in mind we have been tinting for 24 years(Pimping Rides Since 85') we have had customers in our data base which have done 13 cars for them. We are a very established shop and most of the time it is the same customers, guys bare with me also, tinting and posting during the day, I'm actually tinting a General Lee as we speak(remember Daisy Dukes-09 Dodge Challenger), we'll post pic as soon as it is done.
TINTASSASSIN
Well here she is, the customer even had the sound of the General Lee on a separate horn, and yes it is a riot LOLFloor.gif , must say though the 09 Challenger is just about the easiest vehicle on the planet to tint wtg.gif , it was a pleasure for sure, frameless doors, blacked out quarters, and even with the seats folded down it freed up the rear bulging headrest which would have been a little obstacle course and since the trunk was large I even laid down like I was in a bed, brakelight removal was simple so it left it wiiiiiiide open woohoo.gif , almost like I was dreaming or something 00000012.gif I think when the next one comes in I'm going to install it blindfolded with 1 arm tied behind my back smalllaugh.gif

I find the defroster lines thick and a pain to get the film to lay down nice around them. I have been turning on the defroster after to get some heat to lay down.

Yes it is an easy car to tint though.
OT
Yep..those defroster lines remind me of the 70s aftermarket ones. shock.gif 00000024.gif Glass is going to keep getting worse, because it's all being made overseas now. smilies0307.gif GM just signed on with the the cheap Asian FY glass for OEM over PPG. Excellent use of our bailout cash. wtg.gif smilies0307.gif 00000002.gif

I would like to add a comment... While I was in Richmond for almost 5 years, I went on a jobsearch. I stopped at Audio Express on W. Broad on the way to AdvancedTint and was hired before I could make it there. They would not let me leave. Ian was the sales manager and Steve the GM and Ian and Steve held me there until I unloaded my box. Advanced Tint had the best rep for tint up there. I hope it is still the same. I saw some really good jobs come out of there. While at AE I would have loved to do a few TINT but sent everyone asking to Advanced. Good luck and I hope you maintain the reputation.

didn't check out the website, but the ad looks really nice.

slick - car audio sales trainer Eddy Kay has recommended adding something completely unrelated to an aftermarket car shop such as a sandwich or coffee shop to add to revenue.
