But you have to admit that Montoya has probably the most road course experience in the field, and the FACT he was punted by Truex defending the line doesn't make it his fault. A lot of drivers are jealous of what Montoya is getting paid by Ganassi, but which one of them has won the indy 500, won in Formula 1 competition? They hate him because what he makes, not how he drives
He had the opportunity to win 3 consecutive road course wins in his rookie season. What other Neckcar driver can claim that?

fact remains, pablow has no business in the NNC series. he needs at least 2 years in the trucks and busch first. JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

i've never said he can't drive a racecar. he obviously can. but nascar is not F1, and it's not indy car. he needs a couple years in the lower ranks before making the jump. he's not going to make the chase, but his actions alone are helping determine who will and won't make the chase. THAT'S what the other drivers are pissed about.

so you wanna talk about road courses? we have the road course "ringers",(said, fellows, etc) and not one of them, EVER, has taken a car out that was competing for the championship. they know their place, they're there for the win. if they don't have the car to win, they make sure they don't interefere with someone's shot at a championship.
like i said, pablow needs to learn his place. it's just a matter of time before someone puts him in his place. and it won't be pretty. Nascar employs some pretty big boys. pablows 5'3" frame couldn't handle a one of them. cept maybe kahne, but he doesn't count since he's too pretty to get mixed up in anything.

Montoya didn't dominate F1, but he sure made a name and had wins. He won the Indy 500 in champ car, and set several other records in other classes. He more than anyone else has a shot at driving crappy handling, no downforce Neckcars

Ganassi owes him a favor, and he wasn't getting a reliable car with McLaren Mercedes in F1. Plus his teammate was KIMI Raikkonen who was being shopped by Ferrari for Schumacher replacement. He chose the best deal with Ganassi for Neckcar so he could still drive and live in US

2. Thirteen (that's right 13) men go over the wall and take their position in the pit box (2 at each wheel, 1 in front with a "jack", 2 to handle the gas, 1 for the rear "jack") and one to hold the cute little STOP GO sign for the driver (colour coded in case of a language issue I suppose)
3. The driver enters the pit box and stops on his marks. Fuel fill hose is inserted.
4. Each of the FOUR men holding one of FOUR air guns removes THE nut securing the tire directly in front of them while the front and rear jackMEN slip their little dollies under the front and back of their LITTLE car and tip them back to lift it.
5. Each of the FOUR men standing beside the FOUR men holding one of FOUR air guns and ONE nut grabs the old tire off of it's SINGLE stud and replaces it with a new one and sets the old one down beside him to watch as his job is done now.
6. Each of the FOUR men holding one of FOUR air guns and ONE nut tightens THE nut.
7. By this time the PRESSURIZED fuel delivery system is done and the hose is removed.

Dude different series have their diferent pit procedures, you can't compare an F1 pitstop to a Neckcar pitstop. Thats just ignorant

At Bristol Motor Speedway the difference between the pole position and the fastest non qualifier is routinely in the area of 10 feet on a 1/2 mile track. Everyone makes the show at an F1 event, to bar someone after they showed up with a car and all would be quite impolite I suppose.

Again an ignorant comparison, put the Neckcar drivers on the F1 yearly schedule, and see how many passes can be made on those road courses.

let's see, earnhardt, earnhardt jr., stewart, kahne, harvick, andretti, pruett, nemechek, blaney, johnson, etc., etc., etc., all race or raced in the Lemans series and/or sprint cars.

robbie gordon and tony stewart both left Indy cars to come to Nascar. and for a couple years, both pulled double duty running the Indy 500 and the coca-cola 600 in the same day.

A 4.3 liter V8 reving at 19,000 rpm and 900 Hp compares apples to apples with what Neckcar?

i really don't give a shiat either way doesn't matter what you say...i'm not gonna suddenly stop watching nascar and i'm not gonna suddenly start liking montoya. is he you're closest connection to nascar? or do you just watch the road courses hoping a "road course" regular might win?

because every single one of those guys did their time in a truck and/or busch car.

i'm a fan of nearly every racing circuit. i watched F1 for years, getting my ass up at 5 and 6 in the morning to watch it live on speed. till schumacher retired. now that the best is no longer racing, what's the point? but i loved it when i watched it. even though there's only 3 or 4 guys in each race that stand a chance of winning, i still liked it.
i watch indy cars whenever their schedule doesn't conflict with a busch race. been to several indy races at TMS. and they're always badass.

but nothing can compare to nascar. and i'm obviously not the only one who thinks so. at the indy races, there's always a nice crowd of around 65k-70k. compared to the 225K at the Nascar race.

I would like to point out that you guy's are taking up bandwidth.

So this one time, i was watching 2 cars "race", not chase, and it was awesome, because it was over in under 5 seconds, then came 2 more cars to "race"
